Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Practical Woo (Bovine Reptile LLC) collects when you use this site, why, and what you can do about it. The site is for people in the United States.
What I collect
- When you buy: your name, your email address, and what you bought, when, and for how much. Stripe takes your card details directly. I never see or store your full card number. I keep a Stripe customer ID so I can match your purchase to you.
- When you ask for the free sheet: your name and email address.
- Automatically: basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visit. My hosting provider logs this, and the advertising pixel below may collect it too.
- When you write to me: whatever you put in the email.
Why I use it
To take payment, deliver your files, send you a backup copy and receipts, answer questions, process refunds, keep the site working and secure, and measure and run my advertising. If you ask for the free sheet, I may also email you about it and about Still on the Books. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who handles your information
I use these services. Each one handles your information to do its job:
- Stripe for payments
- Supabase for my database and for storing the files you download
- Resend to send email
- Netlify to host the site
- Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) for advertising, through the pixel described below
I do not sell your personal information for money. I do not share it except with these services, to comply with the law, or to protect my rights.
Advertising pixel
I use the Meta pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms. It may record that you visited a page, and whether you bought, along with cookie and device identifiers. I use it to measure whether my ads work and to show my ads to people who might want them. Meta may also use this information under its own policies. You can control this through your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, or opt out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
How long I keep it
I keep purchase records as long as I need them for taxes, disputes, refunds and support. I keep sign-up details until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask me what I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email support@getpracticalwoo.com and I will reply within 45 days. I may need to keep some records, such as proof of a payment, as the law requires.
Security
I use reputable providers and keep my access keys private, but no method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure.
Changes
I may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
